There is no one who
can really tell you whether or not magic exists. This question has been debated
for a long time, and people still cannot come up with an answer.
1
There are
things that happen out there that cannot be explained by reasoning, and it is
up to you to decide whether or not to believe the mystical explanations. After
all, still, there are people who call themselves witches or Wizards but they
don’t have hooked noises and warts, nor do they worship the Devil.

Black magic or dark
magic is type of magic that draws on malevolent powers. It is used for
malevolent acts or to deliberately cause harm in some way. It is alternatively
spelt with a 'K' (magick), this term is also known as black magick, dark
magick, the dark arts of magick and dark side magick. In modern times, people
who believe in or claim to practice magic use the se terms to describe the
harmful magic that they consider taboo, as opposed to the good white magic.
3
While nowadays all
the magic is considered as a clever art of deception, most people believe that
in ancient times there existed genuine magic or sorcery. These were secret
incantations and spells that witches used to make the impossible happen. They
would change water to blood or make frogs, snakes or elephants appear or
disappear. They claimed that they could talk to the dead or fly into the
heavens simply by uttering some magical words.
4
How does it work?
It involves use of
forces that derive its energy from either God’s universal energy for good work
or wicked powers to cause damage to other persons, places or things. As per
experts, white magic and black magic derive their forces from Positive Energy
and Negative energy respectively. They can both benefit a common man, place or
thing temporarily or can cause damage to any of them. However, it is hard to
influence someone with a strong will-power and powerful personality or who may
have a ‘spiritual’ personality.
5
Forces behind Black
Magic
It works on the
following principles: The magic is based on natural and supernatural forces,
which exist along with other four basic forces and these are numbered as fifth
and sixth energy. The scientific basic forces are: Weak Gravity, Strong
Gravity, Electromagnetism, Weak Nuclear Power, Strong Nuclear Power, Natural
Command, Supernatural Force.

The word' magic' is
very old, oldest of the oldest; it has been in existence from the time
immemorial. The Indian Vedas, the Atharvaveda, in particular, gave descriptions
of magic which the Brahmins learnt and practiced and possessed all skills of
magical feats through this super power. This supernatural power has also a
strong mention in the Egyptian literature apart from several religions. But as
per the latest recorded history, it says that it has come from Old Persian
Magus, a Zoroastrian astrologer priest of the Medes.
7
History of black
magic
Later on it picked
up serious attention in the late 14th century from the Old French. Sorcery also
appeared more or less in the same period but it picked up popularity in 1526.
Egypt was known as the magic capital of the world and its magical powers are in
fact recorded in the Torah. We also know that the Torah forbids the use of
magic as well as the art of Ov and Yedoni. It seems strange that none of these
magical incantations is known today.

Tales of Black Magic
There are many
cultures in the world today who believe in black magic. Stories from the
Caribbean, India, the United States and many other countries have similar
themes although these people have no connection to one another in terms of
beliefs and religion. Black magic was a great fear since the Middle Ages, and
although belief in these stories has become unpopular, there are people who
fervently believe that black magic has ruined their lives. The following
popular stories can be found on the Internet... (Can not guarantee the
authenticity)
9
The tale of Munsi
Ram
An affluent family
decided to buy a plot of land near a village in India. Upon settling the
account, a man called Munsi Ram approached the family and expressed anger that
the land had been purchased. Munsi Ram was a feared man due to his connection
with black magic. One night, the family awoke to find three stones thrown
through the windows of their new home. Forty days after touching the stone, the
father and son of the family died of a mysterious illness.
10
Black Magic Suicide
Another Indian man,
referred to only as T, was a victim of the dark arts over a similar land
dispute. After a wonderful year that involved a career milestone and a marriage,
T was suddenly depressed and not himself around his friends. A sudden suicide
confused his friends and new wife, who now believe that the new owner of his
land, a cousin known for practicing black magic, was responsible.
11
Family Disputes
A young Saudi man
decided to propose to a strange girl that his family had never met before. When
the family met her, they became suspicious and refused to give their blessings.
The girl, enraged, turned to black magic for revenge. The next day, the father
suffered a brain hemorrhage while the mother suffered a misplaced disc in her
back. Most gruesome of all was the fate of the daughter, whose uterus was shown
via ultrasound to have turned completely from back to front.
12
Cursed Spells
One day, a woman's
estranged sister arrived unannounced at her home in the American suburbs. The
sister was an admitted believer in dark magic, and as such did not commonly
socialize with the rest of her family. On this visit, however, she was invited
to stay the night. The strange woman left in the morning, and afterwards her
sister experienced a slight fall where she found herself unable to get up for
weeks afterwards.
13
Cursed Spells
Upon searching their
aunt's room the daughters found a strange piece of wood bound with paper, their
mother's hair, and a piece of their mother's clothing. Consulting a priest, the
girls burned the cursed object outside and watched their mother recover
afterwards.

Adolfo Constanzo
Adolfo Constanzo was
a feared and respected fortune teller and practitioner of black magic during
the 1980s in Mexico City. He was responsible not only for drug trafficking, but
for torturing and murdering various people to keep his position of power. The
murders were always connected to the Caribbean form of black magic, known as
Santeria. His curses and murders came to an end in May of 1989 when, cornered
by police, Constanzo ordered his lover to shoot him.
15
Usual perspective of
a victim
Black magic stories
are full of revenge and feelings of hate towards others. Practitioners of these
dark arts feel that they wield a certain power over other human beings, and
that they have the right to exercise these powers. Victims report sudden and
strange illnesses that ruin their quality of life or end it completely. Victims
agree that it takes black magic to fight black magic.
16
4 forms of black magic
that science is making possible
Magicians, psychics
and other sparkly frauds have been scamming the gullible and dim-witted for
centuries using elaborate trickery to simulate fantastic powers. But now
science is finally here, and it's going to follow through on all of their
broken promises. Here are the technologies that, if you could take them back in
time, would totally let you cash in as a wizard.
17
Mind Reading
Psychics are mostly
just using cold readings and leading questions to pick up clues. They see a guy
in a red, white and blue cowboy hat and the "spirits" tell them that
he likes country music. The guy is impressed, and hands them money to hear
more. By creatively hedging their guesses and keeping all information vague, a good
cold reader can emulate psychic.
18
How it's becoming
real
Scientists at
Berkeley University figured out that an MRI machine gives them a pretty clear
picture of what the brain is doing. So, if they simply compare what the brain
is doing when in different states of mind, you should eventually be able to
come up with a machine that can see your thoughts. They already were able to
make the machine "see" what word you were thinking of with 90 percent
success rate.
19
Telekinesis
Telekinesis is the
ability to move or interact with physical objects using only one's thoughts,
and charlatans have been replicating it for centuries. Like say you want to
bend a spoon with your mind. Simply misdirect the audience while you use your
hands to bend the spoon in such a way that, when viewed from a top down angle,
it still appears to be unbent. As you slowly adjust that viewing angle, the
spoon appears to bend before the audience's very eyes!
20
How it's becoming real
About five years
ago, a group of scientists successfully decoded the brain signals human beings
use to control their hands. They then used this discovery to implant microchips
in the brains of monkeys which allowed them to move computer cursors with their
brain. Fast forward a few years and now we're starting to see the first wave of
products resulting from that experiment. The BrainGate is a chip implanted in
your motor cortex that monitors your brain activity and converts it into
computer commands used to operate machinery.
21
Alchemy
Alchemy is the
ancient version of chemistry. When most people hear the word they immediately
think of the alchemists who claimed they could turn lead into gold
22
How it's becoming
real
Science has made
monumental leaps since that era when alchemy was considered the second-most
promising method of obtaining gold after "capturing a leprechaun." We
now know that gold is an element that simply has three fewer protons than lead.
Oh, actually we're kind of late on this one. Back in 1980, a scientist named
Glenn Seaborg accidentally made gold out of bismuth, using the aforementioned
proton-plucking method
23
Fortune Telling
This is the big one.
Whether it's a lady with a crystal ball or a cult leader predicting apocalypse,
there has always been a thriving industry in making predictions about the
future. You can be wrong 99 times out of a hundred, but as long as you get one
guess right your followers will forget all the misses.
24
How it's becoming
real
It looks like the
only thing between us and having the computer equivalent of a crystal ball is
getting the software right! It's not easy; it takes a lot of computing power,
and massive amounts of past and current data for a piece of software to predict
what's going to happen. Two ongoing crises are driving the research right now:
Global Warming, with the corresponding need to develop more accurate models to
predict warming trends, and the recent financial collapse that managed to
blindside every expert whose job it is to see problems like that coming.

Black magic
practices: Know the spells
True name spells -
the theory is that knowing a person's true name allows control over the other,
making this wrong for the same reason. This can also be used as a connection to
the other person, or to free them from another's compulsion, so it is in the grey
area.
26
Black magic
practices: Know the spells
Immortalirituals -
from a Taoist perspective, life is finite, and wishing to live beyond one's
natural span is not with the flow of nature. Beyond this, there is a major
issue with immortality. Because of the need to test the results, the subjects
must be killed. Even a spell to extend life may not be entirely good,
especially if it draws life energy from another to sustain the spell.
27
Black magic
practices: Know the spells
Necromancy - for
purposes of usage, this is defined not as general black magic, but as any magic
having to do with death itself, either through divination of entrails, or the
act of raising the dead bodily, as opposed to resurrection or CPR. Curses/Hexes
- a curse can be as simple as wishing something bad would happen to another, to
a complex ritual.
28
Can Black Magic be
good?
Black magic is the
belief of practices of sorcery that draws on assumed malevolent powers. This
type of magic is invoked when wishing to kill, injure, cause misfortune or
destruction, or for personal gain without regard to harmful consequences to
others. As a term, "black magic" is used by those who do not approve
of its uses. The argument of "magic having no colour" backs the claim
that not everything that is termed as "black magic" has malevolent
intentions behind it, it can have benevolent uses.
29
Mayong: Black magic
capital of India
During its heydays
the magic of Mayong was feared world over so much so that the word magic became
synonymous with Mayong, however no one knows exactly how magic entered this
land. Although many scriptures were excavated or discovered where Mayong has
been described as the place of black magic and tantrikism, but it still doesn't
have a well documented history. Although in Ahom kingdom's official journals
which is called "buranjee" , Mayong got mentioned multiple times,
still it needs a chronological history.
30
So, does black magic
exist?
There are some
people though who believe that they can summon the powers of the Earth to
perform and cast spells but whether or not you choose to believe this is up to
you. However it can all be explained. Magic is just a word that is applied to
something that you don't understand or something that has no immediate
explanation. Do let me know your beliefs...
